Party Favours - Seeds
Each of our guests received a party favour box containing seeds of either Columbine ‘Biedermier mixed’, Columbine ‘Harlequin mixed’, or Foxglove ‘Excelsior Hybrid’ flowers. The party favours didn’t indicate which type of seeds they were. That’s part of the fun growing them - to see which seeds they are. All the seeds are perennials that flower between May and July. Hopefully each year they will remind you of the memorable celebration of our wedding at the Tigh-Na-Mara Resort. For more information on each flower, click on the pictures.
Outdoor Growing Instructions
In the late spring or early summer, sow thinly in the nursery bed, approximately 6 to 10 mm deep. Place the nursery bed in a sunny or partly shaded location. Keep the bed moist. Seedlings will emerge in about 22 to 30 days. In the summer or fall, transplant the seedlings outdoor about 30 to 40 cm apart.
